Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29th, 1958 - June 25th, 2009) was an American singer, songwriter, dancer, philanthropist. One of the most famous people ever (even for some time beyond his death), he was dubbed the King of Pop, and broadly regarded as one of most influencial and culturally significant figures of the 20th century. Through his music, stage performances and fashion, he often set the trend in pop culture. He alone is credited for popularizing street dance moves such as the moonwalk, the robot and the anti-gravity lean.
