Project Description

O.D.O.O., acronym for Overtake Don Overtake Overtake, is a long playing studio project by the legendary Afrobeat musician Fela Kuti. It was composed and released in 1980. This one, like many of his other projects, challenged the Nigerian government, however looking at the then introduced 2nd Republic, and the inflation the country faced at this time. Fela makes references here, also, to a few previous records namely Zombie, Mr. Follow Follow, Shuffering & Shmiling, Kalakuta Show, and Unknown Soldier.
