Folarinde (Folarin) Falana, stage name Falz, was born on the 27th of October in 1990 and is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter and actor. He began rapping in secondary school after forming a group called The School Boys with a friend before professionally launching his music career as an artiste in 2009 with the release of Shakara: The Mixtape and years later dropping his debut album Wazup Guy in 2014, to critical acclaim.
