Ama Serwah Genfi is an Ghanaian-American singer and songwriter. Professionally known as Amaarae, she was born (4th July, 1994) in the Bronx, New York, U.S.A. She is known for her fusion of genres, specifically pop, R&B, afrobeat and alté, as well as her fluid gender and sexuality representations.
